Ministry in Mobile

2024

At Young Life Mobile, we are dedicated to reaching the hearts of middle and high school students across our community. Every week, our team of leaders ministers in 10 local schools, creating a space where kids can be themselves — playing games, singing songs, laughing, and building relationships. Our weekly clubs break down walls, allowing students to hear the life-changing message of the Gospel in a fun, engaging environment.

In addition to our weekly club meetings, we also offer 17 Campaigners groups — small, intimate Bible study groups that meet regularly. These groups provide students with a supportive, safe space to dive deeper into their faith and grow in relationship with others and with God.

Through these experiences, our mission is simple: to introduce students to the love of Jesus Christ and walk alongside them as they grow in their faith. No matter where they are in their journey, Young Life Mobile is committed to meeting kids where they are, loving them, and helping them discover the hope and joy found in the Gospel.

Give

Young Life Mobile is a nonprofit organization committed to reaching and impacting middle and high school students in Mobile, Alabama. In order to continue our ministry, we need to raise $300,000 every year. This funding allows us to serve students through weekly clubs, small group Bible studies, mission trips, and summer camps — all while offering a safe, supportive environment for students to grow in their faith.

We are currently fundraising and in search of a new office space where students can have a place to call home. If you know of any available spaces for us to use during weekday evenings, or if you have connections who may be able to help provide a space for us, please reach out to us at 251-510-1112 or via email at ylmacy@gmail.com.

Your generosity makes a lasting impact. Please consider donating today so that we can continue to share the life-changing message of the Gospel with the students of Mobile. Together, we can reach the next generation with hope, love, and faith.

Guatemala 2024

Over Mardi Gras break, a group of 40 students from Young Life Mobile had the incredible opportunity to travel to Guatemala for a mission trip. While there, we worked alongside the dedicated staff at Casa, an orphanage that provides care and support for children in need. Our team helped with various projects around the orphanage, contributing to the well-being of the children and the staff who serve them.

In addition to our work at Casa, we also had the privilege of serving families in the local community by installing stoves in homes and providing meals to those in need. These hands-on experiences allowed our students to make a tangible impact, while also deepening their faith and understanding of the importance of serving others.

Watch the video below to see how this trip impacted these high school students and the lives of the families we were able to serve. The memories, lessons, and relationships formed during this trip continue to inspire and shape our students as they live out their faith in their everyday lives.

Summer Camp 2024

This summer, 50 students from four different schools in Mobile had the incredible opportunity to experience the best week of their lives at Young Life’s SharpTop Cove camp. Throughout the week, students were continually surprised by fun, exciting experiences that opened their hearts and prepared them to hear the powerful message of the Gospel.

Each day was filled with adventure, laughter, and moments of reflection. Through cabin time, students were given space to process the Gospel message and discuss what it meant for their lives. These small group times also allowed them to build meaningful relationships with their leaders and peers, creating bonds that will last long after the week ended.

It truly was the best week of their lives — a life-changing experience that deepened their faith and brought them closer to one another. Watch the video below to see how this unforgettable week impacted these students and their journey with Christ.
